Brunei Darussalam proudly achieved international recognition, securing a win and two Merit Awards at the 24th Asia Pacific ICT Alliance (APICTA) Awards 2025 in Kaohsiung, Chinese Taipei recently. Brunei Darussalam's six representative teams arrived safely in the country on 10th December night.
Present to welcome the delegation was Yang Berhormat Pengiran Dato Seri Setia Shamhary bin Pengiran Dato Paduka Haji Mustapha, Minister of Transport and Infocommunications. Maktab Sains Paduka Seri Begawan Sultan won the Senior Student Category with the project 'DualFarm AI.' Meanwhile, Lambak Kanan Jalan 49 Primary School received the Merit Award in the Junior Student Category with the project 'The Bright Buddies 49'. Universiti Teknologi Brunei also received a Merit Award in the 'Tertiary School' with its project 'PyschoBoard'.
